A mass dispensing exercise ( POD ) was held on June 28, 2011 at Lake Receptions. LASER  partnered with Lake County Health Department, Lake – Sumter EMS  and The Medical Reserve Corp volunteers to exercise response times and capabilities to a  public health crisis in Lake County.  Approxamitely 13  MRC volunteers participated in the exercise, and added very valuable input as well as feedback . This exercise was a great opportunity for us to test and improve our response to better serve our community. LASER would like to send a message of thanks and support to the public safety agencies  in conjunction with Lake-Sumter EMS and the Medical Reserve Corp ( MRC ) that participated at 90th Annual Lake County Fair.
